NLP

NLP – an effective toolbox to change yourself!

NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) has many applications, including :

  • Discovering your own communication methods, beliefs, and values
  • Understanding how to use different types of helpful language every day
  • Identifying and adjusting limiting beliefs that are preventing you from achieving your desired state
  • Improving your ability to communicate with others to be more effective, such as when building a rapport with someone
  • Getting in touch with your internal resources such as creativity and self-confidence and maximizing their use to achieve your objectives
  • Recognizing and clarifying your values, strategies, identity, role, and understanding of yourself and life, and change course as needed.

And that’s not all, NLP has a vast range of applications for all types of clients.

NLP is classified as brief therapy and focuses more on the how than the why. It’s an instruction manual to guide the work of adjusting limiting internal strategies, discovering oneself, implementing lasting changes, and accessing internal resources that have already been acquired and are present in the client.

NLP helps the client move from their current state towards their desired state so they can realize their dreams and achieve their objectives.

NLP was developed in California in the early 1970s by psychologist Richard Bandler and linguist John Grinder. With the help of a host of specialists from diverse backgrounds (neuropsychiatry, psychoanalysis, philosophy, hypnosis, anthropology, cybernetics, and family therapy), they modelled a new approach that facilitates skills transfer.

This approach to human functioning is based on observations of human behavior. Their tools and techniques teach us to think and communicate with ourselves and others in the most effective way possible to get tangible results in our personal and professional lives.

More specifically, the definition of NLP is:

Neuro:

These automatic responses are coded in the neurons in the brain and the rest of the neurological system.

Linguistic:
Our mental programming can be expressed through verbal and nonverbal language that structures our internal representation systems. As a result, adjusting that language can correct our automatic responses and the way our neurological system codes them.

Programming:
Based on our experiences, we program ourselves in conscious and unconscious ways with complex internal automatic responses to improve our way of being, thinking, and acting in specific situations. These automatic responses have a direct effect on our environment, behavior and habits, beliefs, values, identity, and how we understand ourselves and life.

What to expect the first time we meet in holistic hypnosis/energy treatment/NLP/neurosciences:

Part of the first session will be spent gathering information about the goal you want to achieve. It’s important to take some time to think about what’s at stake and to determine what the real goal is, sometimes beyond the primary conscious objective. In this way, we can define the main lines of action for the future. Each meeting uses holistic hypnosis, either in language mode and/or with one or more techniques adapted to the need at the time. Many tools and insights are shared over the course of the sessions to help with the overall process of transformation, better self-understanding and, above all, current and future autonomy.

I’ll also answer any questions you may have about hypnosis or other approaches. In short, I use a very simple, natural hypnosis technique to guide you into a state you commonly experience: natural trance (commonly known as “being in the moon”). In this way, you remain in control and retain all memory of the session, since it’s simply a matter of your unconscious coming to the same level as your conscious. This is when new solutions emerge, and all your internal resources are accessed.
